About Us

semi casual company

Semi Casual is composed of some of the best guys in the business. We have built a team of passionate people and are the key part to our success as a custom truck builder. To put it in short form we love trucks and the industry as a whole it drives us to push the boundaries every single day.
Tommy Fitzgerald Jr was born into the trucking industry. His father, Tommy Sr., started the company he would grow-up in and work for even before he was born. Tommy worked formally in numerous positions within the family’s company starting at age 14 and informally worked and hung around the shop since childhood. In 2016, when he purchased his first two Peterbilt dealerships along with partners/investors, Tommy was 28 years old making him the youngest Peterbilt dealer owner in the network.
Brian Bourke also grew-up working in his family’s business giving him an understanding, and an appreciation of the benefits, dynamics, and unique challenges of a family business. Later, working in several of his own successful companies through the years Brian eventually settled into the film industry where his talents and projects took him all over the world.
In the summer of 2009, Tommy sought to expand his family’s current business through the use of digital marketing. Tommy contracted Brian to make videos to showcase the company’s numerous products. Recognizing the potential of visual storytelling, and Brian’s immense talents in the area, Tommy offered Brian a position to work exclusively with the company as its marketing director. At the time, neither could have imagined that this collaboration would mark the beginning of a long-term friendship and professional partnership.
Brian-Tommy-1
As Tommy and Brian worked together on several projects, their shared interest for the show truck community became evident. They saw an opportunity to elevate the product and redefine the purchase experience for Fitzgerald Peterbilt’s customers. Fuelled by their shared vision, Tommy and Brian’s professional and personal relationship grew stronger as they set out to build the most notable trucks in the industry. With Tommy’s business acumen and Brian’s creative prowess, they leveraged their complementary skill sets to carve a niche. Together, they brought about the Semi Casual brand to the Fitzgerald Peterbilt group of companies, in an effort to provide high quality custom truck builds in higher volumes than anyone else in the industry had ever achieved.
Despite their accomplishments, Tommy and Brian remain humble and grounded. Attributing their success and achievements to the support of the team around them and a show truck community that has embraced them and their sometimes wild and crazy ideas.
Today, Tommy Fitzgerald and Brian Bourke continue to push the boundary for what is considered a “normal” truck. Their passion for their work is still unwavering, and their shared vision and friendship continues to drive them forward and elevate the quality of their custom truck projects.
